Naming and launch ceremony of the CHANG JIANG KOU 01

 

On Saturday 10 September, the naming and launch ceremony of the 12,000m³ trailing suction hopper dredger, CHANG JIANG KOU 01 will take place at 4pm.

The ship is being built for Yangtze Estuary Waterway Administration Bureau MOT at the IHC Dredgers yard, Smitweg 6, Kinderdijk, The Netherlands.

The ceremony will be performed by Mrs Tian Liying, the spouse of His Excellency Mr Zhang Jun, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of The Netherlands.

Everyone is invited to attend the event by making their way to the yard in advance of the start time and following the appropriate directions.
