IHC Systems inaugurates new simulator
Mr Bram Roelse, a member of the board of IHC Merwede, inaugurated the new TSHD simulator, the ‘Pieter Caland’. This is the first simulator ever built with an outside view, simulating both sailing and dredging with a trailing suction hopper dredger. It will be used to train the crews of contractors who do not yet have their own IHC Systems simulator. The 1250th production measurement system built by IHC Systems was also unveiled on this occasion.
