Yu Jin Xiang (Chinese for Tulip) and Zi Ding Xiang (Lily) are merchant vessels of hybrid concept, and a typical example of Merwede’s innovative design and engineering capabilities. Built on behalf of Shanghai Hai Xing Shipping Company of the People’s Republic of China, these 20 knot ships combine cruise ship-like accommodation for 348 passengers and containerised cargo volume for 224 teu. Both ships ply the waters of the Far East.
